After my cancer diagnosis, Dr Areo Saffarzadeh was recommended to perform the surgery for removal of the lower lobe of my left lung. Scary situation; but after meeting Dr Saffarzadeh, I knew that I was in good hands. He took time to explain the surgery and the recovery process, answering all of my questions and even drawing a picture. He never rushed our meetings and made every effort to make me feel comfortable.
